“The location is great, on the hill over looking to the mountain range and the city of Bhaktapur. 15 minutes walk to the center and it is really nice to see the markets, villages and the rice fields along the way. The rooms are huge and clean. The staffs are great with very good service.”
“Very comfortable room and bed. Good linens. Kettle and refrigerator in the room. Panoramic view of Bhaktapur from both the room and the roof restaurant. Excellent communication with the owner by email and What's App before arrival. The staff went out of their way to decorate a delicious cake with candles for my husband's birthday. It was really sweet of them and the cake really tasted fantastic.”
“Excellent location out of the crowded old city but close enough to walk there. Staff very friendly and trying to make you feel at home. Great outside spaces, like rooftop and gardenplaces. Views amazing. Rooms meet almost western standards which is quite unique for Nepal. Still the decoration is Nepali. Liked this place very much”
“Hiking nearby with temple at top of the hill. A short walk/ride to the amazing Bhatapur old city.”
“The location is great. It's a little out of Bhaktapur (imo the least messy and crowded area), on a hill where there is no noise or dust or too many people, like everywhere else in Kathmandu, as it seems. Very peaceful place to relax and retreat from the city, and a good base to visit all the city parts from. Staff was nice and very willing to help. They arranged a birthday cake for our friend when we asked also. The room was nice, spacious, and the bathroom was fine too. Actually this was the only hotel in Nepal where the water was hot when we wanted to take a hot shower, and where the Wi-Fi always worked. Breakfast outside was a nice relaxing beginning of the day.Had a nice evening with the owner as well, who told us about Nepal.”
“This place is awesome!! I booked an airport transfer and they made it so quick and smooth and seamless by meeting me at immigration and taking care of every little detail so I didn't really have to stress or even use my brain much. If you're coming off of a long flight, this is invaluable. The owner and staff are so sweet and accommodating. I came to Bhaktapur to get away from some of the noise in Thamel and do some work and I was more than able to do that. Reliable wifi, peace and quiet, and good food in their restaurant. I walked to town each day to do a little shopping and it was quick and easy, maybe 20 minutes. Kathmandu can be overwhelming but Bhaktapur is a little bit more chilled out. I would absolutely stay here again-- in fact, I'm planning to next week!”
“The owner and staff treat you like family and do everything to make your stay great! The location is quiet and a nice walk of 20 min to Durbar square.”
“Everything! We had the best sleep ever at this hotel during out stay in Nepal! The staff was super helpful and willing to go the extra mile for us, in terms of finding more information about tours and lunch. They even provided us with a map which was very helpful!”
“The water was extra hot The bed was super soft The food was fresh and yummy The view from room amazing The staff where happy and helpful they made me feel like family which is really nice when you are traveling alone. Highly recommend this hotel as having all the above in Nepal is rare. This is the place to stay in Nepal for some wonderful hospitality and peace away from the city. It was a beautiful experience!”
“Nice peaceful location on a hillside overlooking Bhaktapur. The staff are fantastic and you quickly feel like you have found a home in Nepal.”
