“Very friendly staff, especially Dennis at my check in. Super location with amazing views of the river and water from the front of the hotel, dining room and my room too. The single room (en suite bathroom) I stayed in had been renovated with a modern shower, was neat, clean and well-furnished. It was opposite the staircase and common toilet but was quiet. Had a great stay, would return if in the area again.”

“THE OWNER WAS THOUGHTFUL OF OUR NEEDS. THERE WERE TEN IN OUR PARTY WE HAD OUR OWN DINING ROOM, BREAKFAST WAS PERFECT DINNER WS EXCELLENT. CARL JEFFERIES , THE OWNER, WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO IDENTIFY LOCAL LANDMARKS WE MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN. THE HOTEL BAR WAS COZY WITH FAIR PRICING AND GENEROUS PORTIONS.”
“Excellent welcome from the gent on reception, who also did a good job of part time Simba mattress salesman upon arrival at our room. I can confirm they are very comfy! Our room (1) had a fantastic view of the coast, which I imagine could be brilliant for viewing the Northern Lights if they appear. The bathroom was rather cramped but the space has been worked well. The breakfast was better than the evening menu and was pleasant. The front of house staff came across well overall, in particular on reception.”
