“The young guy in the bar displayed an absolute terrible attitude. We arrived after driving a lot of miles (london). Guy was doing the till & told us he would serve us in 20 mins. Imagine been told that in Temple Bar Dublin. You would be sacked on the spot. We got served after a few words were exchanged. Then he repeated the same scenario when another group of five residents appeared. More words & a bad atmosphere in a lovely little quaint hotel bar. We got no breakfast as we got no requested morning call. So i requested they take the cost off the bill. Nice hotel set in a nice grounds & good location all the same. “The Hotel was lovely, the staff friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and we were able to take our dogs. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, very attentive staff. Plenty of parking. We loved the decorations, although a tad early, maybe ?”

There was a good selection of choice at breakfast with some nice quality sausage and bacon. The hotel is in a cracking location well accessible by rail, road and public transport and has nice views over the park from the room.”
