“The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I was warned on arrival about a function taking place and music til 12 but it didn't bother me. The room got surprisingly cosy and warm once I got the electric heaters going. I didn't need to use it but liked that iron and board were in the room as these can be a hassle to get at some hotels. It was fine for a one night stay over. Plenty of takeaways nearby for dinner, which was good as the place itself was far too busy to eat on arrival.”
