“The best thing about our stay at the Best Western Shippensburg Hotel was the location. Since the purpose of our trip was to visit relatives in the Carlisle area, I was a bit concerned that we were a little too far south of where we ought to be. Those concerns were quickly alleviated by the proximity to Route 81 as well as the existence of various secondary routes that provided some scenic shortcuts to destinations such as Newville and Boiling Springs. The payoff was being able to avoid the heavier traffic in the Carlisle/Mechanicsburg area, and when it was time to go back home to North Carolina, we were already headed in the right direction! We also liked the fact that our stay here included breakfast and an indoor pool, both of which add to the overall value and quality of the trip.”
“The pool and spa were nice. Didn't get to use the sauna because it wasn't warmed up after being on for 30 minutes. Loved the chocolate chips for the waffle. The king sizes bed was comfortable.”
