“Drove up from Corpus Christi, TX & stayed 3 nights in Artesia because hotel prices were better than Carlsbad & it was a halfway point for visiting Carlsbad Caverns & Roswell. Even though hotel exterior wasn't all that picturesque, the interior was quite lovely. Room was clean & the beds were very comfortable. Our room was across hall from pool entrance, yet it was very quiet inside our room. Full breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade hashbrowns. We were sad that waffle machine broke, though. Staff was very nice & helpful with area info., etc. Hotel was on Main St., but quiet & easy to enter & exit. Also, little "Pecos" was a hit with these animal lovers.”
