“Oakridge is primarily an overnight stop location. It is a scenic area but we were just passing through. We had asked for a room in a quiet area and notice was taken of this by the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent; aided by our turning up just as the scrambled eggs were cooked. No train noise that we heard. Don't miss "Salt Creek Falls" on the southbound leaving town.”
