“Not easy to find, as a sign to the hotel stands hidden behind another sign directing customers to a restaurant nearby (and the Hotel Manager drives past every day....) While Benesov itself is rather disappointing (only a very small old town surrounded by ugly housing estates) the hotel - a pretty set-up of old and new buildings cleverly renovated- is a nice base to visit many castles in the surrounding. Pretty rooms, nice little terrace to eat out. However: When we arrived there was nobody at reception. The receptionist had to be located which took some time. When she was found eventually, she turned out to be rather unfriendly. When we went to the restaurant –the only guests and with a reservation- no waiter to be seen .....this kind of hotel. The food –rather tasty in comparison to the rest of the Czech Republic / in particular the gourmet dinner menu deal- can be recommended. One has to PAY for the sauna, which is not mentioned on the website.”

“Sagenhaft schönes Hotel, alles vom Feinsten. Ausstattung wirklich hervorragend, Federkissen und -decken, L'Occitane Produkte im Bad, sogar Bügelbrett und -eisen, Schuhputzanlage etc, weil es sich auch als Business Hotel anbietet. Tolles Frühstück mit riesiger Auswahl. Leider hatte das Restaurant geschlossen, aber das vom Personal empfohlene gleich neben dem Hotel (mit toller Aussicht) war ebenfalls sehr, sehr gut und absolut empfehlenswert! Parkgarage vorhanden, Zugang über den Lift des Hotels, besser geht es alles nicht!”
