“Driving up from Como to Brunate is a challenge to say the least but well worth it. The views across the lake from the hotel terrace, restaurant and our room were stunning. This very attractive hotel is situated about a 50m walk from the top of the funicular down into Como. We went down it and looked around Como, which we thought quite attractive and interesting. The Liebskind designed polished stainless steel installation on the end of a long solid jetty projecting into the river is worth a visit. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant at a window table with the view stretched out below us. It was lovely and dinner was very good - friendly and attentive staff and good food. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting something that bit different and special. And the views over Como are nothing short of spectacular.”
“The view from the room was amazing as expected. The staff were also really nice and friendly. We were allowed to sit outside and drink our own wine and enjoy the evening view from the restaurant where we were given blankets and glasses. It was a good location too. Just get the funicular for 5 EUR and you are there.”
