“Stunning in every respect! I stayed for few days in the aftermath of Storm Ophelia and when Cobh was still being battered by rain so Bella Vista was a most welcome calm in the storm. I have stayed here before so was not surprised by the welcome, the cleanliness, the spaciousness, the great service and the quality the breakfast. On this occasion I found a little flaw and I mention this not to dock a point from my score but to demonstrate that guests only have to talk to the staff and things get resolved. On one day the tea in my room had not been replenished. The Manager sorted it immediately, apologised and sent up a plate of complimentary biscuits. The Bella Vista beds are to die for, the bathrooms are as good as they get and the breakfast, cooked to order, is amazing. The buffet table is laden with so many alternatives. This is how all hotels should be run – let others take note.”
