The family-run Beatrix Hotel is quietly located in the green belt of Budapest, close to the historical Castle district and the centre. WiFi and private parking are available for free. “We arrived in late night, close to midnight. Guy at the reception was very nice and friendly. The place itself is kind of artdeco/beginning of the 20th century decorated which is not style I like, but it is clean and in quite location. It is bit off the Budapest centre in a net of one way roads, but navigation was able to get us there. Private fenced parking is included in price.”

Breakfast buffet serves Hungarian style breakfast (croissants, rolls, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh vegetables, hard boiled eggs), and the staff will cook eggs to order. Also have the usual milk/cereal, yogurt, pastries. A little off the beaten path, but in a beautiful part of city. Five minute walk to mass transit, and two gourmet restaurants.”
