The staff was wonderful in allowing a friend of mine who is a wedding and event planner to go in before our arrival and decorate the room - she did an amazing job as well. Beautiful room that was clean and comfortable! This was the second time I had stayed at The Bask and won't be my last.”

“This property was way overpriced. I have stayed at far nicer hotels, such as the Marriott Marquis in NYC, for less money with far nicer amenities. Also the Biltmore Hotel in Asheville which was less expensive with far nicer amenities. This was an overpriced Fairfield Inn, not even up to the standards of a Marriott Courtyard. The lighting in the room at night was horrible.”

“The staff was the absolute best!! Kizzie, who is in charge of breakfast, went out of her way to get to know us and made sure what we liked was out for breakfast. She even went as far as to take some freshly baked biscuits and wrap them up for us for the trip home! She is such an asset to that hotel! - All the other staff we had interactions with were wonderful as well!!”

“Our 2 bedroom efficiency suite was more spacious than we had imagined... the children, ages 10, 9, 8, and 6 had a great time playing hide n seek....something they could never have done in a regular room....wonderful memories were made during our time at Bask at Big Rock.”
