The historic house, in really good condition, is stunning and the gardens themselves are worth a half day exploring. The staff are so professional, polite and courteous; we were celebrating our engagement and before, during and even after, they made our stay so memorable. The food is spectacular and the surroundings of grand dinning rooms with large fire places just add to the occasion. The rooms were huge, modern and well designed and the bathrooms (with amazing bath tubs!) are even better. There are lots of interesting and beautiful walks and little villages around the countryside that are just waiting to be explored.”
