“Spotlessly clean and well-maintained (far better than I expected after reading some reviews), extremely friendly and helpful staff, who coped with our Spanish till it ran out and then helped us in English where necessary. Older clientèle, perhaps especially midweek. This is a Belle Epoque spa hotel, definitely not a Generation Tinder hookup hotspot! Built on the site of the source of Vichy Catalan mineral water, so definitely a health vibe, but the food was excellent and ample in quantity. You can also go for the modern-style "spa" treatments if you wish.”
