- Ballyroe Heights Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the credit card or debit card used to make your booking as a reservation guarantee method. Pre-authorisation is not charge; it is a temporary hold. This means Ballyroe Heights Hotel will check if the card is active and if there is enough balance to cover at least the first night cost. After a certain period, the pre-authorisation hold is released. This varies on country and card issuer. Please contact your bank for advice on this.<br><br>Guests wishing to pay by cash/debit card will be required to pay in full on check-in. A credit card will need to be presented on check-in to allow access to our phones, room service and room charge facilities. If a credit card is not available on check-in a deposit of EUR 100 is required to access these facilities and will be refunded on check-out after the guest room is checked by housekeeping.<br><br>Guests are liable for the costs of any damage to the hotel caused by their reckless or negligent actions, and for the cost of hotel property removed without consent.<br><br>The hotel is not liable for any lost, damaged or stolen personal items. The hotel will endeavour to return any 'found' item to its owner.<p>Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Rooms were comfortable We had lunch in the Bar which was excellent - very well presented - plenty to eat and great value for money. The breakfast was also excellent - it was table service which was very efficient.”
