“The beach was very close. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and both the bedroom and bathroom are much larger then my friends room in a nearby resort. They were jealous as their resort was packed full of tourists and Bagamayo Spice Villa was peaceful set in a lovely garden”

“We found the accommodation to be very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was not advertised as part of the deal, so we were pleasantly surprised when we received an adequate breakfast included in our stay. Furthermore, we were a bit unsure of the bathroom facilities, because there were not any comprehensive photos of the bathroom on the booking.com website. It turned out that the bathroom was larger than expected, with a large shower-not shown on the website. Super close to great beaches - one minute walk. Bagamoyo is also far enough away from the noisy dance venues so as not to hear them. Staff were helpful and friendly - I wish them all of the best for the future, and hope they go from strength to strength. We will definitely recommend it to our friends. There is also an excellent restaurant just 10 metres from the front gate - no sea view, but excellent food. Bagamoyo is also quite close to convenience stores, a bakery and pharmacy.”

“The villas were a hidden gem only five minutes from the beach. It felt safe and secure for our family of four. Staff was super nice and helpful. Villa was very basic and clean. Shower had hot water. Wifi worked fine. Great stay in Zanzibar. Highly recommend.”
