“Absolutely LOVED this place. Great location and great view. The rooms were perfect....loved the old time feel. Everything we needed was right there. Surrounded by great places to eat too.”
“the location was idea. It is a very quaint town, and seems to have a few nice things to offer. Great Cafe nearby, a few antique shops. Very nice. I got the booking last minute (in the am) and the price was affordable. The bed was very comfortable.”
“Old. Over-priced. Booked room with a double AND a single bed and got only a double. On line site said 1 room left but we were the only ones there.”
“My wife and I enjoyed the 1850's style furnishings and architecture. We had a great view of the downtown area sitting out on our saloon style 2nd floor balcony.”
“Loved how it felt like you were back in the 1800's.”
“We did not eat there. We loved the location. The A/C worked fine. Bathroom and shower were fine. Clean linens and towels, etc.”
“Nice towels and bedding, overall ambiance - porch, piano in the park, view of this beautiful little hamlet.”
“Bathroom toilet had a leak so it was constantly running . Air conditioning unit was very loud and would go on and off. The bed and bath was right on the railroad tracks. There was no way one could get a good night's rest. The TV did not work. No phone inthe room to get assistance. Had to go done to the saloon to get the cook to help us out. He was very helpful. The wine glasses were atrociously fithly. Would never stay here again.”
“The location next to the Mississippi River, as well as the convenience of being able to walk the downtown area.”
“It was like staying above a western saloon. McGregor has an interesting downtown.”
