“The staff at this hotel were AMAZING to us. We were stranded after a missed flight. In the middle of the night, the manager (?) came and got us, came with some major speed to get us fast, set us up, was extremely helpful and set us up with a shuttle the next mrng to get to a ferry. He was seriously so amazing to us, he became a highlight of our trip and took a TON of stress off of our plate during our stay. Just because of how his character that night, we'd for sure recommend him. The room was average, nothing amazing but it was clean and very workable. If you're looking for an affordable place and not needing the frills, this place was an awesome find. We paid 34Euros for a night plus he shuttled us to the hotel (typically a 20 euro fee) and then again to the ferry (another 20Euro fee usually) so our stay was super affordable and almost unheard of. SO thankful for the Babis hotel staff.”

“Babis! Such a nice experience. Very welcoming and extremely friendly. Helped us a lot and offered us a great time at the accommodation. Nice big rooms, very nice pool and great breakfast. The transfer is a big plus and nicely organized. Definitely a good choice for Santorini.”

“The Hotel Babis is a great value, very clean with European charm. The owners pick you up at the airport and are very knowledgeable about Santorini. The hotel is located in the center of Santorini. Its about a 15 minute walk to Fira, or the bus stop is nearby. There are 2 excellent bakeries, a supermarket, and restaurants nearby. I stayed 20 days before I moved into a windmill house in Oia. Wish I would have stayed longer. I will definitely stay here again. As a matter of fact, I already booked rooms for my friends! A hidden treasure.”

“Starting with the complimentary airport pickup, to the fantastic breakfast, to the friendly staff - we loved practically everything about our stay at Babis. We were even given a ride to the central Fira bus terminal when our host found out that there were no buses available for us to take to get to our next destination. This family run business provided us with great service and we'd definitely stay there again!”

“Stayed twice within a couple of weeks, before and after a small island hopping trip. Well run small hotel with clean good sized rooms. Excellent breakfast and within easy walk of local shops, bakery and tavernas. Pool was very refreshing after a day out sightseeing or travelling. The owners are very attentive and provide a first class service of picking up and delivering guests to both airport and the port”

“Babis is a real host, he is so gentle and helpful, as well all the familiy. Fantastic ! The breakfast is made with fresh local food as honey, joghurt and self-baked cake, fresh toasted bread, marmelade, ham and cheese. Furthemore you get orange juice every day. Babis arranges transportation from and to the airport and the port as well without any extra costs. The room was very spacious and quiet. Aircondition is on always in every room. Very clean and quiet. It was a pleasure !”

“The hotel is on a very strategic location, but to see the island u really do need ur own transportation. The price was one of the lowest u can find around the area of Fira. The staff is extremely helpful and are willing to go the extra mile for u. Transportation from the port and to the airport was arranged a definite plus to the crowded island! Fira, one of the best cities of the island, is close when u have ur own transportation and next to the hotel is a bakery. Didn't try out the swimming pool (lack of time). The bedroom is quite ok, tv and fridge in the room.”

“Good value hotel for a short stay. Owner of the hotel drove us from the airport to the hotel even when our flight arrived very late in the evening. Welcome drinks were served upon our arrival and we were given some information about Santorini and other activities they could arrange for us. Very accommodating owner!”
