“The location of the Avra is perfect for taking a ferry to the island (our reason for being there). We stayed here at the beginning of the month when we were on our way to Andros and again this week on our way back. This time it was my husband's birthday and the staff were extremely warm and welcoming, presenting him with a complimentary cappuccino for the occasion. Our room looked directly onto the sea where we could watch ferries leave as well as the sun come up over the water. While the rooms may be a bit dated, they are comfy enough and we enjoyed our experience of being here again. Also appreciated the free airport shuttle - about 20 minutes from door to door.”

“I took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel (about 20 minutes) and after I arrived, I realized that I had lost my passport and wallet! The front desk staff were so helpful and made all of the necessary calls to the airport and the police. We were able to find my passport and the hotel arranged for the shuttle to bring me back to the airport to retrieve it. Everyone was so helpful at this extremely stressful time. I dined in the hotel restaurant which was delicious, definitely recommend it! And the view from my room was amazing.”
