“Aurora is a bucolic upscale bedroom community in northeast Ohio. It was originally settled by Mennonites, and in many ways reflects the character of those early settlers. The Aurora Inn was originally built as a stagecoach stop. The Inn has been recently purchased and renovated, much of the renovation designed by one of the HGTV renovation show stars (which explains the "barn door" closure for the bathroom, I suspect). The restaurant was a well-done renovation of a one-time stables... very attractive. The menu was new and innovative, with good variety. Food preparation was excellent. Our room was one of the more recently renovated and, while small (it's an old inn from the early 20th century, after all), it was well appointed, with a king-size bed, dresser, desk and chairs.”

“The inn has been recently renovated and has a beautiful, calm, rustic look to it and the staff is so pleasant. Anytime you need something, they go out of your way to help you like Julie at the front desk when I needed help printing my boarding passes for the return flight or Lavern, the front desk manager who personally made sure that it was taken care of. Both of these women were so pleasant and kind that they felt like old friends. Actually every time you passed someone you would receive a hello or good morning. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would stay again any time I travel back home to see my family. Thank you to the staff and especially Julie and Lavern who made the stay so nice and pleasant, helping our grieving processes for our aunt so much easier. We hope you are still there when we come back home again.”
