“A great location in the charming old village centre, only minutes walk to the Chateau gates. Wonderful welcome, amazing food and fantastic staff. Dinner was exceptional. Loved the breakfast egg boiler with its tiny baskets.”
“Everything was wonderful, the room, dinner, breakfast, staff! A fantastic experience. The hotel was recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed!”
“Lovely hotel in a beautiful village located extremely close to Chateau Chenonceaux. Room was large, immaculate, on the street side but very quiet. The staff was exceptional and high praise is inadequate. They arranged for laundry, made restaurant reservations, and even reparked our car for us one night so it would be more convenient. Every member of the staff was extremely attentive. The restaurant is a particular draw for the hotel and village and was easily one of the best and most glamorous meals we had in France over a month's time. Book ahead. There are other excellent restaurants nearby. Lovely large bar area in which to have a drink.”
“Our room was in building next to the main auberge it had a small garden with very comfortable seating. We did not eat in their restaurant but many did . Bathroom very modern wth all amentities. In center of Chenonceau. Short walk from chateau. Easy walk to restaurants.”
“nicest hotel and best food in the Loire Valley and in the best location!”
“The use of heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, comfy bed.”
“Great hotel & location. Excellent restaurant with friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended.”
“Very romantic with a good restaurant. Close to the Chateau.staff very friendly and speak good English.”
“The most amazing beds, so comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Exquisite restaurant. Breakfast was huge and so good especially the fact it was brought to your room to enjoy. Perfect location close to the Chateau and forest where we got good runs in.”
“Our room was in an annex to the main hotel in what I think was a former barn. It was well furnished but across the road from the main hotel and the bedroom was accessed by an external staircase. We liked this as it gave the impression of having a private courtyard. It was a very pleasant spot for a post-prandial drink.”
