“The 'upgrade' to a 'lodge, did give us more room but we lost the daily service of beds being made and room being cleaned. However, the extra space and facilities allowed us to 'self cater' so no need to use the restaurant. The lodge did have a very comfortable bed, but being an all metal building it got very hot inside during the day and so all windows and doors had to be open in the evening to cool it down.”
“This felt like the French hotels of my childhood. Really traditional. Staff are really pleasant and helpful. Restaurant was good value for money and breakfast was plentiful. Probably wouldn't stay for a week, but it was great as a layover when travelling”
