What guests loved the most

“The staff were so accommodating and we felt very blessed. The food in the restaurant was excellent. My husbands steak melted in the mouth and it was all so very wonderful. Highly recommended.”

“The xowners were lovely attentive but not intrusive. The food superb.”

, United Kingdom

“Comfortable and well presented room with lovely bathroom, and lots of extra toiletries, towels, and useful items (shower cap, dressing gowns, bath salts, shoe cleaner, sewing kit etc) one often associates with larger and more expensive establishments. We had the cheapest room at the back - which given there is a bit of intermittent traffic noise from large farm vehicles we were pleased of. Comfy bed, nice linen and fridge/ tea and coffee making facilities. Ate at the restaurant, which was a real treat. Not cheap, but amazing quality and presentation. If you want a drink they have a lovely shady area outside the restaurant and they offer specialist beers - albeit at restaurant prices. A lovely place to stay if you want to spoil yourself and want to stay somewhere which is a cut above the normal stop off. Easy access to Amboise which has lively cafes, interesting castle and small but interesting shops.”

, United Kingdom

“the food is superb. Madame is an excellent chef; the family are all very welcoming; we have stayed here a few times & have never been disappointed”

, United Kingdom

“Spacious rooms in a classic mansion in a small village not far away from the A10 motorway. Ideal stop-over on the way to the South. Public parking. Cosy restaurant (of the same owners) a few steps from the hotel. Excellent food at a fair price. Extensive breakfast with an impressive choice of home made marmalades. Very friendly service.”

, Belgium

“Very friendly, family-run hotel and restaurant. Superb food. The location is very quiet, with very little passing traffic. The town is very small so there is not a lot to see here, but as we were only passing through for one night, it was fine.”

, United Kingdom
