“I needed a place to stay overnight for a fishing charter that went out at dawn the next morning. I read some older reviews of this motel that were negative but noticed that all the reviews since the remodeling were really good so I booked this stay and got a good price. The owner is really nice and congenial. My room was beautifully updated for an older style room - the bathroom was surprisingly spacious with new tub/shower/toilet. Other amenities included a large modern flat screen TV, wi-fi, refrigerator, power sockets on the base of the lamp on the night table. Parking is right next to each room so that's really convenient. I didn't use the swimming pool but it looked large and clean. Most impressive to me was how clean the room and bathroom were, and the very bright lighting which is rare in most motels. There were extra pillows, new, clean and comfortable. I was delightfully surprised.”
