“Artemon Hotel is a small hotel (25 rooms) ran by a family. It is at the entrance of Artemonas and only 10 minutes walking from Apollonia where you will find many places to eat and shop. The facilities are basic but comfort is good, the place is very clean and it's excellent value for money. The owner is also very friendly. Excellent situation as a starting point to several trekking trails of the island.”

“Even though I was the only person in the hotel (Travelling in late October out of season), the owner, Stamatis, was incredibly kind and helpful. We had wonderful conversations over breakfast (the food at breakfast was great too and more than enough to carry me through the day without lunch)! Stamatis have me a map detailing all the walks on the island. The Artemon Hotel is ideally located close to Apollonia and all transport nodes and an excellent location for walks to all parts of the island.”

We needed a taxi and when we realised we had gotten the departure time wrong they patiently found the taxi driver to reschedule the trip.
