“It seems that a car would be essential to reach this beautiful property in the mountains just outside Heraklion. Barring this, it is a little slice of heaven, peaceful with great views of the city far below. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and the style of the buildings and the property lends itself to the Cretan feeling. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beds and bedding were fine. Internet is speedy but only available in a few common areas, not a major handicap, by any means. The pool area is gorgeous and clean. We spent a lot of time there, as a break from our touring. Don't miss the weekly folk show/dinner-- definitely worth the price. We will definitely return to this friendly non-resort resort.”
