“The hotel has one of the best locations in Monodendri, next to the path to the monastery and very close the start of the walk down to the gorge and near the lower square. The rooms are dark, but nice and cool and with lovely rustic furniture. We did not find the showers claustrophobic, but very welcome after a long walk. The hotel does a nice, but basic breakfast and a decent packed lunch. They also arranged transport back from the end of the Gorge for us via a local driver (30 euros). Service from Nicos was excellent (he'd only been there a few days) and his English was excellent. In fact service was first class all round. The hotel is great value for money.”

“The hotel is on the quiet edge of town on pedestrian only street. We did not get alot of noise from other guests due to the layout. The bed was comfortable. Our room #10 was spacious and on 2 floors. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with locally sourced ingredients (even doing some of their own butchering). The restaurant got guests from other hotels in town so it must have a good rep. We had 2 of our best meals here during a 2 week trip to greece. Our host was personable, helpful, friendly and patient with all our questions even when busy,.”
