What guests loved the most

“It’s sometimes difficult to know what this survey means when it asks for your rating of things like ‘facilities’ because this hotel doesn’t really have any except for the breakfast room and coffee bar; there is no restaurant for lunch or dinner. This was fine for me because the location is so central that it forced me to go out and explore and try various restaurants and places. The breakfast was a self-service choice of Greek cakes, biscuits, croissants, feta, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, salami, thick Greek yoghurt and dried fruit. There were mini frankfurter sausages and what looked like omelette as the hot breakfast. So all-in-all there was a wide choice. The WiFi was generally OK, but was a bit slow on occasion. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. This is not a modern hotel, it is dated but well cared for.”

“We requested a gluten free breakfast option and they had GF bread and home made GF cereal every morning as well as cheese and ham. The dining room staff were so attentive. The lady on reception during the evening was fabulous - when she was on duty she always asked us how our day went, she gave us great advice regarding tours and the Samarian Gorge. We had a very early morning start to go to the Samarian Gorge and she organised an early morning breakfast for us.”

“Breakfast choice very good, Bed was a little hard for me and other peoples doors banging all through the night did not give a good nights sleep. I think people who are not in transit ie: staying just for one night should be put away from people who actually use the hotel for a break away from home.”

“Great place to stay for our one night stop over. Next to bus station and only minutes from old town. We had a top floor room with big balcony and fantastic views of town. Room was spotless and bed comfy. De entrance breakfast inxluded. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. ”
