“The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. It is a kind of service that is really personal and I must say that it exceeds the expectation of a 5 star hotel standard. My room is located next to the river. It is adjacent to a forest, so plenty of fresh air. Transportation ( car ) was available to ferry us to the town centre ( pick up can be arranged from the sister hotel ). I strongly recommend the French cuisine ( half board ) and the waiter was very knowledgeable and very attentive. The room has both Japanese and western character. The room was indeed high-tech and yet cosy and very comfortable. Beds were very plush and we had a good rest A short walk brings you to a nearby waterfall and the Mount Rokko cable car station.”
