“Arrived late one evening. Check-in was quick, polite, and efficient, as was check-out. Staff were generally helpful. Room was clean and bathroom looked to be recently renovated.”
“I stayed in a twin room. It was very large and had a nice view overlooking the garden at the back. Good location in a quiet residential area, but right on a tram line that takes you straight to the museums and in to the central tourist area and central train station. For Amsterdam it was incredibly cheap and this is the biggest selling point.”

“Hotel is just near the Valeriusplein tram station from which you can take "tram 2" to reach central station and other main sights of Amsterdam directly. Very friendly and helpful staff. The stairs are narrow and too steep, and there is no elevator but the staff helps you on carrying on your suitcase. The room is large, silent at nights, and bed is comfortable (I cannot say something about pillows as I don't use any). Free coffee and tea facilities are available in the room.”

“The hotel is very nicely located, close to museums, inner city, and the RAI. The staff was very friendly. The only not so nice aspects were the small single room and the facilities - if I would have realized the size, I would have booked a double. The bed was super tiny, not much more space overall, almost no space to use the toilet and showering requires climbing over the toilet first. There was a serious sewage problem: I had to interrupt a short shower twice to not have water overflowing the cabin, and the water stayed there some centimetres for 10minutes after finishing a 10min shower.I cannot talk about the breakfast as I didn't have it, nor did I see the garden as I had to leave early.Overall a convenient and affordable short stay in a nice neighborhood and right next to a park and attractions, if you are ok to make some cuts on room quality.”
