“Being in a non-tourist destination with good beaches, no disco bars and traditional food.”
“Great sea view. So quiet. Access to taverna and beach, and 15 minute rough path walk to port. Coastal walks straight from the door. Bus 15 minute walk from our studio. We loved this place, but you have to be aware that from the studios closest to the beach - which do have the best views - there is a climb of more than 200 steps up a very steep slope to the hotel's reception and bus stop, and an infrequent bus service to the Chora where you can get provisions - when the shops are actually open. There is no flatland on Anafi either, so getting around on foot is quite challenging. We relish a challenge anyway and were very happy to stay here for 5 nights.”
