- Borkum Island is partially car free.<br><br>Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides.<br><br>The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.<br><br>It is important to let the hotel know what time you intend to arrive.
