“The building is gorgeous and there's a beautiful pool and garden in the back. The rooms have been well decorated, respecting the architecture of the building. The bed was uncomfortable, however, as the pillowtop was missing. The wifi only worked spottily and not even enough to check out restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel plays elevator music allover the hotel premises. The restaurant was ok but the service was run by very young and inexperienced staff - both at the restaurant and in the hotel in general. The person who did our check-in forgot to give us our passports back, and so did the person who checked us out and we ended up having to have them annulled at the airport to get on our flight. Yes, it was our mistake not to ask for them but regardless, I would have expected an apology from the hotel but none was forthcoming. ”
