“This is the first 10 rating I have every given. It was completely authentic amazing place. The main hotel and restaurant was in a 400 year old house. It had been subtly modernized and was comfortable but had lost none of its character. The staff were friendly helpful and completely genuine. The house we stayed in was across a narrow street. The view from our hotel room was brilliant across the roofs of this ancient town. The rooms were comfortable and excellent value for money and the fixed price fixed 5 course menu made predominantly from local in-season ingredients was interesting very tasty (especially as I my husband and I both had food we would not normally eat) and very good value for money. We were asked if we had any specific dislikes so I expect they would be accommodating if required.”
“The folks here were extremely friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the optional dinner was outstanding!”
“One of the greatest B&B's we've ever stayed at. The restaurant is just perfect, it serves a daily changing 5-course menu with locally sourced products. Marco is a great sommelier who matches beautiful wines with the menu made by Daniele and Sara. The owners (mother and daughter) are very nice and have many suggestions for sideseeing and information about the regio. The first time it's a bit tricky to drive through the winding and narrow street of this medieval town, but once you know where to go it's easy. Parking is a 1 minute walk away. The B&B has many nooks and couches to read and relax in. The gardens are nice for those warm summer days or sunny autumn afternoons. We liked everything at this gem.”
“We were treated to a room with a charming balcony and view over the tile roof tops overlooking a beautiful church. The dinners were amazing….refreshing, innovative and lighter than traditional Sardinian fare. The female chef, who should be honored, is an extraordinary representative of the best of "slow food"…. Breakfast was also a notch above w homemade cakes and jams taken under the persimmon tree in the courtyard. Our waiters were quite wonderful and personally attentive as well.”
“The room was well equipped, light and spacious with a lovely outlook. The evening meal was perfectly delicious and the attentive service was exactly right. Breakfast was the highest quality, with a wide choice of cheese, meats, cereals and a particularly mouth-watering selection of home baked cakes. The tranquil and restful atmosphere. The tuneful church bells. Everyone was helpful and welcoming.”
