“A fifteenth century house, hidden behind a huge wooden gate in a blind wall; the gate opens onto an absolutely delightful courtyard, full of trees and flowers, a shady place to leave the car in the heart of the city. A vast, airy apartment, simply furnished, exceptionally comfortable beds, a little kitchen area, everything you could desire. Delicious breakfast brought to the room: lots of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, coffee. I could have stayed there for a week. Oh, and no mosquitoes, always a plus in Ferrara!”
