“Dimitris and Athula are very friendly hosts who love to help you. They run their hotel with a lot of passion. The location is quiete and 150mtrs from the busstop and a small supermarket. In 3-5 minutes you walk to the city centre where you will find many restaurants, bakery's and supermarkets. We had a budget room without AC on the ground floor. The room is very simple, but with everything you need for sleeping, showering and storing luggage. The room also had a small balcony. The hotel also has a big terrace on which you can chill and enjoy the flowers in the garden. Athula Sun is a great choice for an accommodation if you are looking for a budget hotel. ”

“Very nice hotel in a central position at the beautiful east coast of Rhodes (village Arhangelos, away from noizy tourist-only hotel aggregations). Only a few minutes away from the best beaches Tsampika and Agathi. Trips to other sights and places as well take benefit from the central position. Lovely hotel owners Dimitris and Anthoula are very friendly and helpful.”

“The views where great from this lovely traditional looking house. The little balcony attached to the room was also lovely, although most of the time it was right in the sun. A little shade, an umbrella or something like that would go a long way to improve this room. I appreciated that we were given two anti-mosquito tablets upon arrival, which are highly necessary. The first night they forgot to give us the plug to stick them into, and we suffered the consequences of a sleepless night due to very hungry mosquitos. Guests could keep stuff in fridges provided in the common area, the only area really with reliable wifi. The place was quite clean. The first night there was some dust that had accumulated under the bed, but they did clean the room regularly. The location is good in as far as the impacts of tourism here are perhaps less heavy than in some of the other, directly by the beach, towns, but you can't escape tourism altogether on an island like Rhodes.”

“Very friendly, warm, family feel. Exceptionally wonderful couple (Mrs. Anthula and Mr. Demetri). They are beautiful people who make you feel safe, relaxed and part of the family. This hotel is situated perfectly to a frequent bus service line. If you are not travelling with a car, this is a very good location. Anthula Sun is EXCELLENT value! The architecture of the hotel is very well designed and thought out giving a wonderful esthetic and good privacy. Very clean. Lots of greenery all around and just outside of Archangelos centre. Easily accessible to shops and bus service. I enjoyed Archanegelos very much. And, I would absolutely visit Anthula Sun again. YES, I do recommend this hotel!!!”
