“Superb location (far enough off the motorway to be quiet but near enough not to cause a big detour - and Moffatt has its own rather handy petrol station) with super-friendly staff. Elaine is a complete star! Biker friendly hotel with secure parking for dream machines. Really good dinner and breakfast. Cosy bar with good beers and Whisky selection. Local musicians were playing in the bar on the night we were there, meaning we all had a good sing-song with the welcoming locals and that we didn't go to bed until after midnight! Slept like a log. Second time we have stayed there and we'll stay again.”

“We were warmly and cheerfully welcomed on arrival . We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, menu same as the bar perfectly adequate, served politely and quickly. Room was very clean, beautiful sheets, bath towels were proper size most unusual. Bed was really comfortable.”
