Located at the end of the lake away from the old town but it turned out that in this area are the most birds and a perfect spot to see the old town as the sun is setting behind you. The fishermen are also here. Shops and restaurants are concentrated in this area. A short walk away near the bus station is an excellent grocery store. If you're traveling by K-tel buses note that buses to Ioannina are infrequent. There was no bus the day we were scheduled to check out but we had no problem lea ing a day in advance.”
