“We really liked the design of the resort, our villa was very pretty. The staff was great, they were very polite and friendly. The food was very nice.”
“The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the private patio was nice. The bit of beach in the front is very clean and offers a nice view. There were lots of complimentary things - a billiards table, bike rentals, canoeing and snorkeling equipment, fitness center with a sauna, and breakfast - as well as scooters, massages, and boat trips for an additional cost. We liked swimming in the ocean, infinity pool, and the small private pool. Also, the resort is only a few kilometers away from a small town, where we rode the free bikes to for some local food. Overall, it was a great place to relax after our more adventurous, first leg of the trip.”

“Excellent beach location and an AMAZING pool. Food selection on the whole is very decent, with the inclusive breakfast being particular good. Perfect getaway location on the NW side of the island, midway between the bustle of Sengiggi’s black beaches to the south and the amazing waterfalls to the north.”

“The spaghetti carbonara was delicious (actually our food was all delish). We got a discounted upgrade to the front villa with private pool. The place is very quiet and dignified, no stupid backpackers who travel thousands of kilometres only to look for parties and cheap booze. We'd recommend kayaking early in the morning using the free kayak, the scenery of both the sea and mountains beyond the mist is just amazing. Free bicycle use for you to get out of the complex and check out the greeneries nearby, go to the local warungs to get your snack. Big big communal pool.”
“The staff at anema are what makes this place, they are so friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't quite fully open but that didn't matter much as all the main areas are ready and any residual work is minimal so as not to disturb. The setting is also a big draw. The pool is lovely and the resort is right on the beach. It's very picturesque, with easy access to the Gili islands. It's quiet but that is exactly what I wanted. The only area for development is the food. It's good but sometimes isn't exactly what was advertised on the menu. This place is beaut and I would defo recommend this place!”
