“Nice simple hotel with friendly staff and helpful. Breakfast was good, but while we were there they did not do evening meals. This was no issue for us as we could drive to the town easily. Plenty of choice locally and varying prices to suit. Good location if you what to travel around, Austria is jut over the hill and we took the train to Saltzburg for the day, which was clean and easy to park at the station in Berchtesgaden. Would have been quicker to drive, but not so much fun. We will be using this hotel again in the future as a base to visit this part of Germany, Austria and easy to pop in to Switzerland. Very happy with the choice of hotel”

“The staff was excellent. The views were amazing. We loved the quiet peacefulness of the hotel with only the sound of a few cow bells. The breakfast is very good. Most beautiful place ever stayed.”
“Breakfast is nice and there is a lovely view from the large windows. Beautiful alpine meadows. The hotel is relaxing and the beds were comfortable. Rather entertaining was the disco shower! The location is very quiet and all you can hear at night are cow bells. All accommodation in Berchtesgaden give out free bus passes that also get you a discount on some other things. Note also that a DB rail "Oberbayern" ticket is amazing value and your ticket includes the buses for the day of travel.”
