“The hotel is approx 20 minutes walk from the major sites - Hermitage, St Isaacs Cathedral etc - but an interesting walk past the Majinsky Theatre ( 7/8 minutes walk) and the Yusupov Palace. Nice breakfast and good standard of cleanliness and comfort in the rooms. However what really makes this hotel exceptional is the people who work there - front desk, concierge, catering etc. They could not have been more helpful.Prefer this hotel over many of the 5* chain hotels in St Petersburg - more than happy to book again should we return.”
