“The room was totally charming and the bathroom really was first class! Wonderfully designed, luxurious with large spa and seperate large multi headed shower room, many swell placed mood lights, all of which functioned perfectly. The room was called 3 steps and was simply authentic and wonderfully historic. The staff were helpful and friendly. Their restaurant suggestions were great, one restaurant in particular was amazing. I think it was called Giglio or similar. The hotel was in the historic heart of Lucca, within the old city walls so fantastically placed for exploring this lovely historic city. This simple inn was by far the best hotel we stayed in on our trip to Tuscany and the other 2 were multi starred hotels. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, in fact wished we'd based ourselves here for the whole holiday! ”
