“Nice hotel at the seafront. Very friendly staff that made you feel welcome. The rooms are a bit out of date but it was clean. Nice beds, maybe a bit hard. The breakfast was, in my opinion, very good. There was bread, prosciutto, cheese, marmalade, croissants, yougurt, cereals, juice, boiled eggs and different kind of coffee. The area where the hotel is located is ok. There is a restaurant nearby but that aweful. We took the car to the villages nearby for dinner which was much better.”
“Very well located in a quiet village right on the lakefront with a beach a few steps from the hotel. This is a typical family run Albergo where friendliness and attention to detail rules. The Albergo has been tastefully renovated, but without alterating the warm Italian atmosphere. The breakfast was substantial and a welcome change from the more common all sweet offering. There is an excellent moderately priced restaurant a short walk away. The Albergo reception will provide a coupon for. 10% price reduction at the restaurant.”
“Beautiful hotel, right by lake side, with its own private beach. At the end if a road, so only noise is waves lapping the beach at night! Family run, very helpful and friendly owners, always with a smile and advice. Spectacular views (when the clouds cleared!) across lake from hotel to Borromean Islands and towards Monte Rosa. Santa Caterina monastery short (10-15 min) walk away, also this is where the boats leave from”
