Magical atmosphere, of an old-fashion hotel in an isolated place (and yet only 15 minutes walking from the main street with the restaurant and super market) Highly recommended”

“The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to very good restaurants in the evening. We were also the last stop (or first) to the ski hill. We had a less than 5 minute ride and we were the only ones getting off and on at our stop unlike some of the others (20+). Extremely convenient and the bus pass was excellent value. The buses ran every 15 minutes and you could take it down the hill to catch one into Canazei. The boot warmer and ski room was also great. The owner was very friendly and helpful and showed a lot of pride in his place.”

“Wir haben uns in der Albergo Majorka rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber durchaus ausreichend für einen Kurzurlaub. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und einem fantastischen Ausblick auf die Dolomiten. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag aufgeräumt und es wurden neue Handtücher gebracht. Der Vorort Alba ist recht ruhig und nicht so überlaufen wie Canazei, was wir sehr genossen haben. Mit dem Auto oder mit dem Bus gelangt man sehr schnell an die schönsten Ausflugsziele im Val di Fassa. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Haus, so dass das Auto nicht auf der Straße geparkt werden muss. Das Ehepaar, welches die Unterkunft leitet ist sehr nett und bemüht sich sehr, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Da die Unterkunft nur Frühstück anbietet, waren wir abends immer in einer kleinen Gaststätte in Alba, die ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt liegt. Dort gab es sehr leckeres, italienisches Essen zu fairen Preisen.”
