“We really felt this place deserved more stars then it's advertised. The staff were polite and very helpful. The town is quaint, with good character. The rooms were really comfortable aswell as the bed. There was good choice for breakfast in the morning and it only took a nice and easy 10 minute drive to Serravalle shopping outlet with premium brands that my wife and I enjoyed! We had dinner on the main road at a pizza shop where the owner and waiters couldn't understand any English, but the place appeared packed with locals. This was a great decision, we overcame the language barrier with google translate! The Caprese Salad and pizzas were fabulous. To find the restaurant turn left out the entrance of the hotel, and another left at main road then walk past the first main restaurant, I believe it was he second one. We had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here in Gavi, we'll be back again some day. ”

“Warmest welcome on arrival by Matteo. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Breakfast so tasty, we all went for 3 courses. Def try the homemade cookies. Finally, the location cannot be any better if you're looking for a true small Italian city with lots of ambiance. Right in the center of small Gavi, still you can imagine sitting in your own garden when having a drink in the backyard of albergo il castello. Don't doubt staying here, you won't regret it! ”
