“Too beautiful. We have traveled all over Italy and often choose the historic buildings to stay in, and know what to expect for facilities when you choose a hotel in a 500 year old building - so we were absolutely surprised to see how beautifully they've done the hotel! First if all, alot of room. The beds and sofas are really lush and comfortable. The view from our balcony of the tower ruin was stunning. Incredibly clean and new. The lobby and restaurant are amazing and cozy in stone. Every detail is perfect. The restaurant was absolutely lovely. Fantastic food and not overpriced. As they say in Italy, you eat very well. The french fries were much too good - home made. No shortage of good wines! The owners/staff are just lovely and have our highest praise! The village itself is also beautiful, small and serene and we enjoyed quietly wandering the maze of tiny streets. Will absolutely be back. ”

“After over 5 weeks exploring Italy we were making our way back to Fiumicino Airport and we had decided that we wanted to finish with a memorable evening. So pleased we decided to stay in Castelnuovo Parano, a small and charming hilltop villlage, not far off the autostrada but in reality another world. So peaceful and pretty, the inn was lovely, we had a room with a balcony looking out over the village and hills. Breakfast was a visual and taste delight, the fresh fruit salad was great and for those who enjoy cakes and pastry they were laid on. Their attached restaurant is excellent, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here.”

“Totally awesome location in a quaint (though somewhat decrepit) mountain village. Awesome views; fantastic medieval-feeling rooms with giant beams in the ceilings. Hotel built in 14th Cent. Super cool stone walled dining room. Excellent food and wine selection.”
