“The staff the location the decor and style of the hotel ”
“Clean, basic, traditional Andalusian pensione. Room off interior courtyard was dim, but compact bathroom was brightly lit. Aircon was good, thankfully, with 35C temperature on arrival. Access from street was by a buzzer at the front door. Photos of attractive courtyard and mural on website predate current gaps in the wall plaster. Wifi connection achieved only on morning of departure. Generally felt in line with the apparently declining fortunes of Jerez town, which only really comes alive after 8 p.m. when crowded street-side restaurants and bars brighten up the place.”
“Very helpful providing info and booking activities. Good central location, quiet comfortable. Nice patio courtyard for breakfast.”
“Patios are nice (that was the reason I chose this hotel), the hotel has a place in front of the entrance to take out luggage and it is close to the cathedral and alcazar of Jerez.”
“Great value for money. The Arabic style of the hotel was great and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating.”
“For me the only positive aspect of this hotel is the location. The location is very good, short walk from shops, old town, bars and restaurants, but the whole area is 'zona azul' which means no free parking nearby if you're driving. The style of the hotel is very traditional and appealing for tourists visiting Andaluzia, and has potential to be a beautiful place, but right now it's in desperate need of remodelling and also nicer staff. The girl who works at reception in the afternoon is the only one who was polite to us and who would smile and greet guests who walked by.”
“The hotel was a refreshing change from regular hotels, by consisting of a North African/ Arabic design throughout the building, corridors, bedrooms and bathrooms. However rooms were still modern enough to have A/C and TVs. There are two internal court yards adding to the Arabic experience. The train station is less than a 10 minute walk, as is town centre.”
“The location is just great. It's a 3 Minute walk to the centre with pubs, tapas bars, etc. The main quarters are characteristic and really picturesque.”
“The building is an old Jerez building which is beautiful especially the courtyard. The location is very central equal distance to train station and to centre. The staff is very nice and helpful.”
“The best part is the lobby area - looks like and old moorish / arab house. Looks exactly like in the pictures. Loved that! Very good location and quiet hotel.”
