“Pretty bedroom with elegant stone work. Very clean and bright. Nice view overlooking the harbor. Breakfast was nice but very limited choice. Coffee unfortunately was served lukewarm and not hot! Service not as friendly as usual in Greece.”

“Great location on the sea-front. Lovely mid-XIXth century building tastefully renovated, with high ceilings, chandeliers, carpets and armchairs in the landing/first-floor hall. I had a good view of the sea, even though the actual balcony was accessible only from the public area. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit (freshly cut for each guest), and eggs fried to order. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants/tavernas and cafes all along the sea-front. Syros Island is well worth visiting; it's beautiful, not as crowded as others of the Cyclades, and has a lovely old town, which used to be the administrative capital of the islands (still is, I think).”

“This property is walking distance to almost everything: ferry, taxi, bus, main shopping and restaurant areas, and to taxi across to the west side cost us only 10 euros, one-way. The owners and their family were available throughout our stay to assist with our every question. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a seating area in addition to the bed. I will book here again when I return to Syros.”

“The location is just a short walk from the port. Ms Maria and her staff gave a good introduction to Syros...the beaches, historical spots and even printed the bus routes and scheduled. Of all the hotels that I have stayed in Greece, this is the only hotel that provided 2 bottles of water daily . The room is spacious with a sofa set. Restaurants, cafe and bars are just along and behind the hotel. There's a common balcony with table and chairs overlooking the port and the churches. Very beautiful sight at night.”

“The location was excellent, with restaurants right outside the hotel. It was very charming and we had a very nice large room with high ceilings and stone walls. The hotel definitely incorporated the old hotel with modern amenities. Also, the breakfast in the dining area was very good.”
