“As a jumping off point for a trip to Monte Roraima, starting and ending here was perfect. The people are very friendly and welcoming and I was able to leave items in storage that I did not want to schlepp on the expedition up the mountain. Evenings around the pool are very pleasant with a choice of two freshly made soups available to enjoy with your cold beer. Soups sounds strange, but it was very satisfying. There is also a full food menu to choose from. Caipirinhas are excellent as well. Having a pool there for relief from the heat is great as well. The breakfast buffet is truly amazing and has a gazillion items available including made to order tapioca or eggs. Breads, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, juices and local items including paçoca and more make this a standout breakfast - the best I have yet experienced in the Amazon area in terms of sheer variety.”
“This hotel is very well designed and well thought - for instance, the room had electric sockets everywhere I needed them. Bed was very comfortable. Omelettes for breakfast were delicious. Also great bar by the swimming pool. We loved every bit of it - it's worth the price we paid and it totally deserves our 10”
