“Friendly front-desk staff and a clean and comfortable room. They did our visa registration for us very quickly and were helpful with all of our questions. The bathroom was quite large and it had a huge bathtub, which was really nice after a day of walking around in the cold. We usually stay a little bit outside of the main touristy zone, so we're used to walking and this is a great location if you want to walk around the city. About 45 minutes to the Hermitage Museum and other sites and a quick Uber back if your legs get tired or it's too cold. There are lots of good places to eat and drink within 5-10 minutes (walking) of the hotel, including Pelmenya (popular and cheap dumpling place) and a really great coffee shop called Babe's Bakery!”

Standard room was a bit small, but not too small and bed was very comfortable. Check out until midday was a good perk as well - you can take your time at breakfast and have a lie in!”
